Highlights
- Dispersant / surface modifier for inorganic pigments (TiO₂, ZnO); also an emulsion stabiliser, oil-gelling agent, film-former and SPF enhancer.
- Polymeric fatty acid with pendant hydroxyls: the hydrophobic backbone anchors to oils and mineral surfaces; the hydroxyls give steric stabilisation.
- Gels oils at higher levels to create anhydrous sticks or modify cream rheology.
